ABC Announces Summer 2023 Series Premiere Dates Starting May 8

ABC celebrates Summer 2023 with a strong lineup of new and returning series that feature love, laughs, and some fierce competition, starting May 8.

After a Spring of season and series finales, a whole new slate of shows will entertain throughout the summer months.

The Series

There are two new series: “Jeopardy! Masters,” the latest iteration of America’s Favorite Quiz Show, hosted by the “GOAT” Ken Jennings, begins a new three-week tournament; and the new unscripted comedy series, “The Prank Panel,” staring Johnny Knoxville, Eric Andre and Gabourey Sidibe as the all-star panel of “pranxperts” has a special May preview before settling into its regular time in July.

The summer’s only scripted series premiere will be the second season of “The Wonder Years,” the coming-of-age comedy series narrated by Don Cheadle, which debuts with a special one-hour premiere.

“Claim to Fame,” the competition series hosted by Kevin and Franklin Jonas and featuring relatives of celebrities, debuts its second season, followed by the highly anticipated premiere of the new season of “The Bachelorette,” featuring Charity Lawson, in its new time slot.

Rounding out the summer premieres are “Generation Gap” in its second season, “Press Your Luck,” “The Chase,” and “Celebrity Family Feud.”
