Calling all Padawans! Bookseller Barnes & Noble is partnering with Disney Books to host Star Wars Spectacular events on Saturday, April 8 in Orlando, FL and Glendale, CA.
Orlando, FL Event
This store is located in the Plaza Venezia shopping center in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando, and will host this day-long Star Wars event filled with festivities such as storytime for the little ones, color and draw Jedi art and origami, build and take Lego Star Wars mini vehicle, and Star Wars trivia.
There will also be a moderated author panel from canon Star Wars authors Beth Revis and Mark Oshiro at 6pm.
Revis authored “The Princess and the Scoundrel” and “Rebel Rising” books for the Star Wars universe.
Oshiro wrote “Star Wars Hunters: Battle for the Arena” (Middle Grade reader), and contributed the story “Hunger” in the anthology “From A Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.”
The Star Wars Spectacular starts at noon, and is free to attend for all ages.
Glendale, CA Event
This store is located at the Glendale Americana shopping center and will host this day-long Star Wars event filled with festivities such as Star Wars Origami, storytime for the little ones, color and draw Jedi art, Star Wars trivia, mini-builds, and photos with Stormtroopers,
The Star Wars Spectacular starts at 10:30am, and is free to attend for all ages.
