Disney has announced that breakfast and lunch service will return to Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at EPCOT starting May 14, 2023.
Disney hasn’t released any menu details yet, but did release three photos of sample food items that will be available. There are also no details on pricing yet.
Previously, breakfast offered pastries, scrambled eggs, potato casserole and Norwegian waffles, while lunch offered a similar menu to dinner, with several Norwegian-inspired dishes like field greens salad with lingonberry vinaigrette, traditional kjØttkake (Norwegian meatballs), and grilled salmon.
And even though we are within a 60 day window of May 14, the official page for the restaurant simply says, “Please check back soon to learn about booking reservations.” We’ll let you know when we hear of reservations opening.
But if your Walt Disney World visit falls on or after May 14, now you know you’ll have one more restaurant to include in your dining plans for breakfast or lunch.
The addition of these two meal services restores Akershus Royal Banquet Hall to regular operations. It reopened for dinner service on November 4, 2022, after it pandemic closure in 2020.
