On March 1, The Mandalorian and Grogu made a planned appearance at Disneyland Paris to celebrate season three of The Mandalorian, but the duo also made a surprise debut at Walt Disney World
The Mandalorian and Grogu are visiting Disneyland Paris for a limited time to celebrate the series’ new season on Disney+.
From now until March 14, the space duo can be found roaming Discoveryland in Disneyland Park, where you can also enjoy “Star Tours” and “Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain.”
Walt Disney World
While the Disneyland Paris appearance by The Mandalorian and Grogu was announced in advance, their appearance at Walt Disney World took most by surprise.
Their first appearance at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was on March 1, to coincide with the series’ season three debut Disney+, but the good news is Disney has not set an end date for their visits to Batuu.
These two appearances of the duo join the original appearance at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park, which kicked off in November 2022.
The Mandalorian and Grogu in-person characters were first discussed at D23 Expo 2022 when Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro welcomed Disney Legend, and The Mandalorian series creator, Jon Favreau.
They welcomed onstage the first in person appearance of the two characters, with Favreau explaining that he worked with Disney Imagineering to make sure the design was as authentic to the show as possible.
Disney Photo Pass
While at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at either Disneyland or Walt Disney World, Guests will have access to two special Disney Photo Pass Lenses in the My Disney Experience app or Disneyland app that allow selfies with Grogu.
These are available through Monday, March 6, 2023.
