Less than three weeks until the start of season 3 of the Emmy Award-winning series “The Mandalorian,” and Disney+ has released a new featurette video, along with new key art.
The Featurette
This new video looks at the phenomenon behind the series and how it’s captured the heart of Star Wars fans, and includes clips with producers John Favreau and Dave Filoni, along with some of the cast and creative talent.
There’s no new footage from the upcoming season, but it’s still a nice look at the show so far.

Season 3
Season 3 of “The Mandalorian” will debut on Disney+ on March 1, 2023.
In this new season, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. Bounty hunter Din Djarin, reunited with Grogu, will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.
The series stars Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. Actor Christopher Lloyd (“Back to the Future”) is set to cameo this season, too.
The directors of the eight-episode Season 3 include Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey, and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Jon Favreau is the showrunner/head writer and serves as an executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck are co-executive producers.
Seasons 1 and 2, along with “The Book of Boba Fett,” which contains some of “The Mandalorian” storyline, are available to watch on Disney+ if you need a refresher before season 3 starts.
