Walt Disney World has just announced the dates for this year’s EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, and we have them for you so you can start planning.
The Details
The 2023 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will start on March 1 and run through July 5.
As in years past, this popular festival will feature live entertainment via the Garden Rocks Concert Series at the America Gardens Theatre, and a bevy of over 15 Outdoor Kitchens circling the World Showcase lagoon, as well as select locations in World Discovery and World Nature.
Walt Disney World hasn’t released the list of concert headliners or Outdoor Kitchen menus yet, but I will share them once they are available.
I’ll also let you know when the Garden Rocks dining package reservations open.
Other Details
For the first time, sculpted topiaries of Mirabel, Antonio, Isabela, and Luisa from Disney’s “Encanto” will make a grand appearance near the park’s main entrance.
A new Princess Tiana topiary will also grace The American Adventure area.
They join returning topiaries designed to resemble Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs; Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Captain Hook and Tick Tock Croc; Figment; and Anna and Elsa.
On the bridge to World Showcase, guests will find “Blossoms of Fragrance presented by Scentsy.” Surrounded by vibrant butterfly topiaries, guests will be invited to follow their noses to six scent stations featuring a variety of aromas.
And Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt returns to delight all ages. Follow Spike the Bee on his pollination trail, where he will “bee” busy collecting nectar and pollinating gardens at EPCOT. Once you find him in each garden on your map, add the corresponding sticker of the plant he is visiting.
Plus there will be plenty of official ‘70’s inspired Orange Bird merchandise, including apparel, headwear, drinkware and much more.
