‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ To Start Streaming on Disney+ in February 2023

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - Winston Duke on GMA

It was announced this morning on ABC’s “Good Morning America” that Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” will debut on Disney+ in the U.S. in February 2023.

The Details

The follow-up to “Black Panther” will debut on Disney+,  in IMAX Enhanced format, on February 1, 2023. The first film is also on the streamer, making for a great movie night.

Marvel sent cast member Winston Duke, who plays M’Baku, to “Good Morning America” to make the official announcement. While he was there, he told some fun stories about the cast of the movie.

Take a look:

The Film

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” was released on November 11, 2022, and not only debuted at #1, but held that spot for 4 weeks. It also claimed the #6 spot on the 2022 box office totals chart.

The film is actually still in theaters, and it’s well worth making the trip to see it on the big screen. I recommend splurging on IMAX or RealD 3D, as the visuals are very well done.

And of course, it’s a Marvel film, so stay through the end, because there is one mid-credits scene that really brings the story full circle.
