Disneyland Paris VoluntEARS Bring Christmas Magic to Children’s Hospital

Disneyland Paris VoluntEARS

We’ve spotlighted wonderful efforts made by cast member VoluntEARS in Disneyland and Walt Disney World before, and this weekend, Disneyland Paris VoluntEARS brought some Christmas magic to a children’s hospital.

Bringing the Holiday Magic

On Christmas Day, Goofy dressed up as Santa Claus and teamed up with Disney VoluntEARS to create magical moments and distribute presents to the children who are hospitalized at Grand Hôpital de l’Est Francilien (based in Jossigny, France).

“It’s not easy to be in hospital on Christmas day. It brings joy to the children,” said Nadège, one of the six auxiliaries on duty at the hospital in a statement.

Disneyland Paris says Santa Goofy and his fellow VoluntEARS distributed about 170 presents at Grand Hôpital de l’Est Francilien on Christmas Day 2022.

A History of Giving

Disneyland Paris has been bringing such moments of magic in hospitals on Christmas Day for 8 years, and this year, more than 2,600 gifts have been distributed in the pediatric wards of 55 hospitals across France.

It says it is committed to making positive impacts in the lives of those who need it most, especially sick children.

In the last thirty years since the park first opened, Disney Characters and VoluntEARS have visited more than 40,000 children in 500 hospitals across France and Europe.

Kudos to the Disneyland Paris cast member VoluntEARS for bringing all the Christmas magic to the kids!
