To help keep kids of all ages entertained on their visit to EPCOT, Walt Disney World has debuted a new scavenger hunt today, December 16, called “DuckTales World Showcase Adventure.”
How to Play
“Might solve a mystery…” says the “DuckTales” theme song, and players will help Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Scrooge McDuck, and friends defeat dastardly villains and recover the lost 7 Plunders of the World.
The virtual scavenger hunt will take players on an amazing adventure that spans the globe…or at least the World Showcase.
Visit the seven pavilions of Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Japan, France, and the United Kingdom to complete missions by finding “hidden treasures,” and unlocking interactive elements.
Every mission completed receives an achievement in the app. Each mission will take about 25-30 minutes to complete, according to Disney.
Finishing the quest in all seven pavilions leads to a special final mission.
About the Game
“DuckTales World Showcase Adventure” was announced three years ago, pre-pandemic, and is now available in the Play Disney Parks mobile app.
It replaces “Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure,” which was based on the Disney animated series “Phineas and Ferb,” and joins other interactive games available in the app.
If you play, let us know what you think of it in the comments.
And because you know you want to…feel free to sing along to the “DuckTales” theme song:
