Disney+ Gives “The Santa Clauses” Series a Surprise Season 2 Renewal

The Santa Clauses

In an interesting turn of events, “The Santa Clauses” series, previously billed as a 6-episode limited season release, has just been given a season two order by Disney+.

About the Series

The series is a continuation of the “The Santa Clause” trilogy of movies starring Disney Legend Tim Allen as Scott Calvin, who ends up becoming Santa Claus and moving his family to the North Pole.

In what is now Season One of the series, Calvin has been Santa Claus for nearly thirty years, and he’s as jolly as ever, but he starts struggling to keep up with the demands of the job, as well as being there for his family.

When he discovers there is a way to retire, Scott considers stepping down as Santa Claus and finding a worthy successor so that he can become a better father and husband.

But that search is not only difficult, it has serious repercussions for the Calvins, and the entire world.

The what was originally a series finale, but is now a season finale, just aired this week on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

The season ended with a familiar face as Santa Claus, but where does the adventure go from here?
