EPCOT’s newest attraction, “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind,” will be getting a special “Holiday Remix” this season, and I have the details for you.
The Details
As the upcoming Marvel “Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special” proves, the Guardians are all about celebrating Christmas, and this year at EPCOT, “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind” will be getting a special holiday transformation.
According to Disney: “This season, the Guardians are trading in their classic hits playlist for a mash-up of seasonal jams at ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.’ Blast off to the tune of an awesome holiday single, bringing joy to Xandar and Terra, too.”
No word which holiday songs will be used in the medley, but reportedly it will temporarily replace all of the other songs for the duration of the Walt Disney World holiday celebrations.
The Start Date
The “Holiday Remix” starts November 25, 2022, which is coincidentally the same date the GOTG Holiday Special debuts on Disney+.
That date is also the day that the Festival of the Holidays and the other EPCOT holiday celebrations, like the “Candlelight Processional,” begin.
