Marvel Reportedly Working on Vision Series for Disney+

White Vision

Here’s some Marvel news nobody saw coming…there is a reported “WandaVision” spin-off series for Disney+ in the works starring none other than Vision, played by Paul Bettany.

The Details

Reports are a writers room will convene in November to hash out the story, which will be about Vision trying to regain his memory and humanity.

During “WandaVision,” he was resurrected as part of his wife Wanda’s sitcom dream world after his death in “Avengers: Infinity War.”

But in the last few episodes, his real body was reconstructed and reactivated by S.W.O.R.D. (Sentient Weapon Observation and Response Division), the extraterrestrial-focused counterpart to the now-defunct S.H.I.E.L.D.

This resurrected White Vision was tasked with stopping Wanda, even battling her and her dream Vision, but upon acquiring Vision’s original memories, declared himself to be the true Vision, and departed Westview.

Tentatively titled “Vision Quest” (not to be confused with the 1985 movie), the new series would take place after the events of “WandaVision,” but it is not known how far after.

Reportedly there is also an opportunity for Elizabeth Olsen to reprise her role of Wanda, but it’s not known if it’ll be a current encounter or as a flashback.

“WandaVision” creator and writer Jac Schaeffer is set to serve as showrunner on the new spinoff as well.

Schaeffer is also overseeing the other “WandaVision” spinoff, “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” (with Kathryn Hahn reprising her role as the titular witch), which is slated to debut in the winter 2023.
