Marvel Releases New ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Trailer, Featurette and Character Posters

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” will soon be in theaters, and Marvel has released a new trailer, featurette, character posters, and more for the film.

Like we need anything else to get excited for this film, but here are all the goodies:

The Trailer

This new trailer marks the one month mark until the film’s release, and showcases more of the war between Wakanda and King Namor and his Talokan army.

Not to mention a very fierce M’Baku.

“They’ll think we’re vulnerable,” says Shuri, “They’re welcome to find out.”

Take a look:

The Featurette

The featurette includes behind-the-scenes clips of both “Black Panther” films, along with interviews with the film’s stars such as Angela Bassett, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, and Letitia Wright, along with director/co-writer Ryan Coogler.

Among the subjects, they explain how the sequel will pay tribute to the original’s star Chadwick Boseman, who died of colon cancer in August 2020 at age 43.

We also learn more about the character Namor, played by Tenoch Huerta.

“It was really moving to come back to Wakanda and for us to be able to do it with a sense of celebration,” says Nyong’o.

The Posters

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” has a large cast, and Marvel is honoring all the major players with these really cool new individual character posters:

One Month Ad

A new video ad showcasing scenes from the film, some new, has been released to celebrate the one month to theaters mark:

The Lexus Ad

I normally don’t pay attention to ads from movie sponsors, but this Lexus ad features some of the Dora Milaje in action driving a sweet car:

About the Movie

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” continues the story of Wakanda, as Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) to forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda.

Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of Talokan, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livinalli.

The film hits theaters November 11, 2022. Communities and organizations can arrange group bookings and theater buy-outs by visiting: WakandaForeverTickets.com.
