‘Marvel’s Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur’ Announces Season 2 Renewal at NYCC22

Marvel’s Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur

This weekend, during a Marvel panel at New York Comic Con 22 (NYCC220), Marvel and Disney Branded Television announced the new animated series “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” has received a season two renewal ahead of the first season’s debut.

More News About the Series

In addition to the renewal news, Marvel also released a clip from the theme song, “Moon Girl Magic,” written and produced by executive music producer Raphael Saadiq, and performed by series star Diamond White (voice of Lunella aka Moon Girl).

The video also features animation from the show. Take a look and listen:

It’s got a funky beat, and some of the harmonies remind me of Missy Elliott. I think as a theme song, it sets the tone for the series.

About the Show

Based on Marvel’s hit comic books, the series follows the adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur, whom she accidentally brings through time into present-day New York City.

Equipped with Devil’s fierce loyalty and brawn, and the loving support of her family and best friend Casey, Lunella sets out to make a difference and protect her Lower East Side neighborhood from danger.
