September may have had a lot of debuts due to Disney+ Day, but don’t count out October 2022 for having some great movies, series, and more.
October Highlights
“Big Shot” starring John Stamos kicks off its second season this month, as does “The Mysterious Benedict Society” starring Tony Hale.
Star Wars fans can enjoy the debut of the animated “Tales of the Jedi,” along with more episodes of “Andor,” which debuted last month.
Marvel fans can enjoy the Halloween tone of the “Werewolf By Night” special, along with some catalog Spider-Man animated series, the horror-tinged 2020 film “The New Mutants,” and the final episodes of “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” season one.
“Dancing With the Stars” makes its move from ABC to stream live for the first time, while “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” keeps skating through season two.
Finally, for kids of all ages, seasons 1-4 of “Bear in the Big Blue House” debut on Disney+, as does a sing-along version of “Into the Woods.”

Dancing with the Stars – Episode 3 (Live)
“Dancing with the Stars” returns for another season of celebrities dancing with pros, judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.
In addition to moving from ABC to Disney+, another change this year is host Tyra Banks is joined by Alfonso Ribeiro. Every episode is still streamed live, though.

Marvel’s Werewolf by Night – Premiere
On a dark and somber night, a secret cabal of monster hunters emerge from the shadows and gather at the foreboding Bloodstone Temple following the death of their leader.
