“World Princess Week,” part of the “Ultimate Princess Celebration” that kicked off last year, starts today, August 21, and runs through August 27.
The Celebration highlights the impact of Disney Princesses, and the courage and kindness they inspire in fans all around the world.
Plus, making her official debut as a Disney Princess this year is Kumandran warrior Raya from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Raya and the Last Dragon”!
From giveaways to limited-time offerings, here are some of the many ways you can join in the celebration for World Princess Week 2022 across the Disney Parks. There will also be Princess-themed food and beverages available throughout the week.
Disneyland Resort
Magic Key holders should stop by Stage 17 at Disney California Adventure for a photo opportunity and magical Princess extras.
Disney Artist and Historian Stacia Martin will be appearing at several dates during the week, drawing Disney Princess characters and chatting with guests:
- August 21 at WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disney District from 12-4pm
- August 22 at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa – ask guest services for a time
Walt Disney World
One of the cool extras guests have when staying at the resorts is the Movies Under the Stars, and this week the complimentary screenings will all be Princess-themed.
The American Adventure pavilion in EPCOT will host a Tiana and Naveen-inspired paper crown giveaway.
Disney Springs will host a free princess-themed DJ dance party on Sunday, August 21, and again on Saturday, August 27. You’ll find it happening at the AdventHealth Waterside Stage by The World of Disney store.
Disneyland Paris
Disney princesses and Queens Anna and Elsa will shine their light for the park’s 30th Anniversary during World Princess Week via “The Royal Promenade” parade, which will occur twice daily.
There will also be several Princess Meet ‘n’ Greets throughout Disneyland Park, including “A Magical Moment with Aurora in the Castle Courtyard, along with four Princess-themed Disney PhotoPass shots.
Guests can even collect free princess collectible cards throughout the park.
