Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs will be hosting an exciting day of immersion into Japanese culture at their Summer Matsuri on Sunday August 7, 2022.
What is a Matsuri?
The Japanese word matsuri means festival, and that’s exactly what Morimoto Asia intends the event to be…a Japanese cultural festival.
What to Expect
From 12-3:30pm, the first floor of the restaurant will come alive with the Matsuri. Guests can enjoy Japanese street food, taiko drummers, and family-friendly games.
On the second floor, guests can visit food stations hosted by experts that will teach them the ins and outs of preparing fish while also enjoying delicious samplings. Guests will also have access to a selection of Japanese beers and sake.
Vendors will include:
- Korin – Showcasing a pop up store and knife sharpening demo
- True World Foods Orlando – Providing a sampling of Bluefin Tuna, Japanese short grain rice, and Japanese Wagyu Beef
- Wismettac Foods – Offering Japanese sweets and snacks
- Sun Noodle – Offering a sneak preview of Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s new line of ramen for retail
The Cost
General admission tickets are available for $60 (+ tax/gratuity) per adult and $30 (+ tax/ gratuity) for children 9 & under. Booths seating four are also available for $400 (+ tax/ gratuity) per booth.
Admission price includes delicacies to try at all the food stations, samples from the vendors, and a seafood-driven educational tasting component. A cash bar will also be available.

Morimoto Asia is located in The Landing section of Disney Springs. We suggest parking at the Orange garage, as it is closer.
