Just in time for Florida’s hot summer, EPCOT’s Gelateria Toscana has added two new items to its menu.
“Affogato” Al Cioccolato
The first item is the “Affogato” Al Cioccolato, a twist on the traditional Italian dessert of coffee poured over gelato, which they also offer.
This affogato uses homemade hot chocolate instead, poured over vanilla gelato. Whipped cream and a pizzelle cookie finish the treat.
This is perfect for those who can’t have or don’t want caffeine in their affogato…or just want lots of chocolate.
Coppa Amarena
The second new treat is the Coppa Amarena, which features layers of vanilla gelato and Amarena cherry. The Amarena cherry is grown in the Bologna and Modena regions of Italy.
But that’s not all. It’s also topped with Amaretto cookies, whipped cream, and gigantic pieces of shaved chocolate.

Gelateria Toscana is located near the entrance to the Italian Pavilion at EPCOT, near the edge of the American Pavilion. It opened a year ago in May 2021.
In addition to authentic Italian gelato and sorbet, this quick service location also offers pastries, soft drinks, Italian coffee selections, beer, wine, and more.
