Guests visiting Magic Kingdom from July 14 to 24, 2022, will get to enjoy an extra showing of “Disney Enchantment” nightly.
Extra Shows
During that time period, the calendar shows there will be two performances at 9:20pm and 11pm.
The Disney Parks calendar also shows Magic Kingdom hours will be to 11pm, so maybe they’re expecting attendance in the park to be huge and hope to alleviate the closing rush by giving the crowds two choices.
On the evenings before and after those dates, the calendar still shows single performances at 9:20pm
Pre-pandemic closure, Magic Kingdom would often have two nightly shows featuring “Happily Ever After” first, followed by the smaller projection-based show, “Once Upon a Time.”
About Disney Enchantment
This nighttime spectacular debuted at Magic Kingdom on October 1, 2021, as part of the kick-off for Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration.
“Disney Enchantment” combines Disney music, enhanced lighting, fireworks that light up the sky, like previous nighttime shows.
But for the first time, immersive projection effects extend from the castle down Main Street, U.S.A.
The show also features an original new song by 7-time Grammy award-winning songwriter Philip Lawrence.
Viewing Tip
In the past, on nights with two nighttime shows, most families would catch the first showing so they could get their kids to bed.
Instead of joining them, visit other attractions, which should have less crowds, then catch the second nightly showing of “Disney Enchantment.”
