Disneyland 2022 ‘Oogie Boogie Bash’ Details Revealed

Oogie Boogie Bash

Halloween is an exciting time to visit Disneyland, and the park has released the details for this year’s “Oogie Boogie Bash.”

The “Oogie Boogie Bash” is a separately ticketed nighttime event that includes after-hours park access to treat trails, photo opportunities, entertainment, attractions, spooky fun decor, and more.

This year’s event will take place at Disney California Adventure park on 23 select nights starting Sept. 6, through Oct. 31, 2022.

One of those nights will even be just for D23 members and take place during the 2022 D23 Expo weekend.

What to Expect at “Oogie Boogie Bash”

This limited-capacity event offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the park’s attractions, unique entertainment, character sightings, food and beverage and more.

Guests are welcome to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes, as long as they follow the park’s costume guidelines.

There will be immersive treat trails featured throughout Disney California Adventure, offering guests of all ages the chance to enjoy trick-or-treating for M&Ms, Skittles, Snickers, and other Halloween favorites.

Character sightings will feature favorite Disney characters including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck.

Plus it wouldn’t be a Halloween party without some Disney villains, too, including the evening’s host, Oogie Boogie.

Unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads from the party are included with admission to “Oogie Boogie Bash,” so be ready for photos and interactions.

Mickey’s Trick and Treat

Shows and More

Make time to watch “Mickey’s Trick and Treat,” where Mickey and friends headline a live show filled with not-so-scary Halloween tales.

Meanwhile the “Frightfully Fun Parade” is a spirited masquerade cavalcade starring Mickey, Minnie and some of your fave Disney Villains.

“Redwood Creek Challenge Trail” will also transform into “Villains Grove,” an ethereal wonderland of imagery inspired by Disney villains, using lighting, projections, sounds, and special effects.

A Halloween spell will be cast on the façade of Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street, too, transforming the iconic tower structure throughout the night with swarming bats, pulsing green energy, and more.

  1. Just wanted to see if anyone has gone to a D23 event and can provide more info on what would make this night more “special”… especially with the extra cost. Thx all!
