It’s a new month, which means a slew of new foodie news to share from Disney Springs at Walt Disney World.
June 2022 brings news of new flavors, special events, and Pride flavors, just to name a few of the yummy news bites we have for you.

Gideon’s Bakehouse
Gideon’s Bakehouse is a must-stop for foodies visiting Disney Springs, and there are two new June-only items to enjoy.
The White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut cookie returns featuring homemade salted caramel. It’s soooo good!
The cake slice of the month honors Pride Month and it’s the Rainbow Crunch Cake. This fluffy scratch-made 3-Layer Vanilla Confetti Cake is covered with multi-colored Marshmallow Buttercream and laced with mega crunchy Rainbow Crumbs.
Limited Edition items can sell out each day, so there is a limit of two per paying guest.
Salt & Straw
The new ice cream shop Salt & Straw has five new flavors for June called the Summer Picnic series:
- Baked Brie & Fig Cheesecake
- Chocolate Nocino Cherry Pie
- Cinnamon & Honey Fried Chicken
- Deviled Egg Custard w/ Smoked Black Tea
- Pink Rosé & Watermelon Sorbet (vegan)
These flavors will also be available at the Disneyland shop, and you can read more about them at saltandstraw.com.
The Edison
The Edison hosts monthly mixology events and this month’s Mixology Series will offer cocktails and accompanying bites inspired by the regions and flavors of Scotland.
These expertly paired samplings will feature three different Scottish Whiskeys: Caol Ila, Dewars White Label, and Johnnie Walker Black Label
Tickets are $65 per person (tax/gratuity additional), per evening, and atendees must be 21 or older. The events will take place on June 8, 15 and 22, from 6pm to 8pm at The Edison’s Lake Side Patio.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
If you love your snacks sweet and salty, head over to Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar where the “Temple of Bacon” appetizer has returned for a limited time.
Guests can enjoy these chocolate-covered bacon slices through the end of June.
Sunshine Churros
Disney asked its social media followers to vote for their favorite churro flavors, and one of the winners will be available at Sunshine Churros located in the Marketplace area.
From June 6-12, the winning flavor will be the Peanut Butter Lovers churro. This churro is rolled in cinnamon sugar, drizzled with milk chocolate and peanut butter sauce and topped with peanut butter candy pieces.
Vivoli il Gelato
Vivoli il Gelato has two tasty limited-time treats available this month, though one you need to be 21+ to enjoy.
For Pride Month, they’re offering the Pride Sangria Float, made with strawberry, mango, pineapple and blueberry sorbetto, topped off with Terre Di Bacco Prosecco and sparkling soda. This one is actually available through July 31, 2022.
The Burgerlato features a truffle brownie, cake batter gelato, strawberry sauce, and bacon, in a warm Italian doughnut. If you love sweets, this has a bit of everything.
