Jude Law has booked a trip to a galaxy far, far away.

Law, who has already had starring roles in both Marvel and Harry Potter movies, can now add “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” to his illustrious career. Law will soon be seen playing Captain Hook in the upcoming Disney+ movie adaption of “Peter Pan & Wendy.”

There has to be some sort of award for appearing in so many different movie franchises!

The new original series will be written by Christopher Ford and directed by Jon Watts.

It had been known in the trades that Spider-Man director Jon Watts was getting his own Star Wars project from Lucasfilm. Now we know what it will be.

Joining Watts as executive producer will be Star Wars power-hitters Jon Favreau (The Mandalorian) and Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars).

A shot from Star Wars: The Mandalorian features the bounty hunter reaching into the floating cradle of the Child, aka baby Yoda.

According to Watts, the show is set in the same time as The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett. Skeleton Crew focuses on four kids, around 10 years old, who end up getting enveloped in their own Star Wars adventure.

Watts added, “It stars four kids, but it’s not a kids show.”

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is being made for Disney’s streaming service Disney+ with an expected premiere in 2023.
