Disney Parks says sneak peeks of the film will also be coming soon to Disneyland Paris and the Disney Cruise Line.

Lightyear

Disney*Pixar’s “Lightyear” is directed by Angus MacLane, and will be arriving in U.S. theaters on June 17, 2022.

While they share the same name, this Buzz Lightyear isn’t the lovable plastic hero of the “Toy Story” series. This is the movie that inspired Andy to want the Buzz Lightyear toy.

It will mark the first Pixar film to hit theaters since “Onward” in 2020. “Soul,” “Luca,” and “Turning Red” all premiered on Disney+.

The film also features the voices of Uzo Aduba as his commander and best friend Alisha Hawthorne and Peter Sohn as Sox. Keke Palmer, Taika Waititi and Dale Soules lend their voices to the Junior Zap Patrol’s Izzy Hawthorne, Mo Morrison and Darby Steel, respectively, and James Brolin can be heard as the evil Zurg.
