Families heading to Aulani Resort in Hawaii this summer will be happy to hear that “Aunty’s Beach House” will reopen May 25.

At “Aunty’s Beach House,” children – known as keiki in Hawaii – will explore Hawaiian culture, art and music, with a dash of Disney magic, at this supervised activities club for Guests ages 5 to 12.

Designed as a typical hale, or house, where kids might visit their “aunty,” this kids club puts the focus on fun. Each of the six colorful rooms is dedicated to different activities, including a movie room, a computer lab, an arts and crafts studio, and a game room.

Parents can reserve a playtime in Aunty’s Beach House between the hours of 8am and 2pm daily for secured children’s programming.

During these hours, parents may select 1.5 hours of playtime for complimentary themed activities on “Uncle’s Side” of the house, where complimentary activities include interactive games and arts and crafts based on the theme of the day.

Guests can also choose 2 hours on “Aunty’s Side” of the house for premium activities, such as “Surf’s Up,” where children will learn about the ocean, catch a wave on carpet surfboards with Max, and get the somewhat wacky lowdown on fishing Hawai‘i waters with Goofy.

Another premium activity is “Kakamora Chaos with Moana,” where kids can spend a fun-filled time interacting and playing traditional Hawaiian children’s games with a special guest from across the sea, Moana! Plus, Moana will teach her new friends a game from her home island of Motunui calle the Kakamora Relay.
