In an appearance last night on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Manuel not only talked about “Encanto,” he helped Kimmel with a spoof commercial that aims to make the obsession with the movie a little easier for those who don’t feel the uncontrollable urge to sing and dance to its irresistibly catchy songs.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is nominated for an 2022 Oscar for “Dos Oruguitas” from the “Encanto” soundtrack.
Miranda has already won several awards for the “Encanto” soundtrack, but if he wins an Oscar, he will have completed the EGOT (winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony). He has already won two Emmys, three Grammys, and three Tony awards, so he just needs that Oscar. This would also make him the youngest EGOT winner to date.
