Disney Springs - Gideon's Bakehouse, Terralina Crafted Italian, and Local Green Orlando

If you’re planning a visit to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World during the month of March 2022, here are some bits of news that could make your visit more delicious from Paddlefish, Gideon’s Bakehouse, Local Green Orlando, Terralina Crafted Italian, and The Edison.

Paddlefish - burger and beer

Paddlefish, the award-winning seafood restaurant at Disney Springs, is currently offering a lunch promotion that is so secret, you have to ask for it.

The menu includes two lunch pairings for adults:

  • The Burger (a 9-ounce proprietary beef blend, with house-made pickles, red onion, and pimento cheese, on a brioche bun) paired with Paddlefish Larger for $25
  • Stuffed Cod (with Shrimp & Scallop corn bread stuffing, asparagus, red potato, and mustard cream sauce) paired with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc for $38

And one for kids:

  • Kids Cheeseburger paired with a kids size Strawberry Basil Lemonade for $12

These special lunch pairings are available Monday through Friday from 12pm to 3pm. Ask your server when ordering to enjoy them.

Serving guests with 360 degree waterfront views, Paddlefish offers a seafood-heavy menu including a daily catch, King Crab, seafood boils, and more, along with steaks and other dishes.

Gideon's Bakehouse - March 2022 cookie and coffee

It’s a new month, which means Gideon’s Bakehouse has all new limited time offerings to enjoy!

The cookie of the month is the Coffee Toffee Chocolate Chip. According to Gideon’s: “This handmade, almost 1/2 pound Cookie is filled and topped with freshly ground espresso beans and complimented with Toffee (for a sweet crunch) and Chocolate (for richness) in our Vanilla Bean Cookie! Finished with a sprinkling of sea salt harvested from Mourning Joe’s tears. This one fuels your spirit on all the levels.⁣⁣”

Also available for March, but not on the menu, is the Salted Caramel Nitro Cold Brew, which is vegan and gluten-free. You have to ask for it when you order.

Local Green Orlando - sandwich

Specializing in Vegan, Vegetarian, and Pescatarian options, Atlanta-based restaurant Local Green Atlanta will be opening a new location at Disney Springs in March.

This fast casual restaurant was birthed out of the desire to provide wholesome food options to the Atlanta’s Westside community, and now they’re bringing their healthy concept to Walt Disney World.

Called Local Green Orlando, it will be based in the West Side of Disney Springs, and will include beloved ATL menu classics as well as new items, which, like the rest of the menu, will be inspired by hip-hop culture, paying homage to Florida’s most famous musical acts.

It’ll be good to have more plant-based dining options at Disney Springs. I’ll let you know when I hear of an exact opening date.
