Disney Leads the Nominations for the 49th Annual Annie Awards

49th Annie Awards - Encanto, Luca, Raya and the Last Dragon

The nominations were announced for the 49th Annual Annie Awards, celebrating excellence in animation, and Disney films scored the most nods.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Raya and the Last Dragon” leads with 10 nominations, “Encanto” scored nine, and Pixar’s “Luca” recieved eight.

ASIFA-Hollywood is the world’s first, and foremost, professional organization dedicated to promoting the Art of Animation, and celebrating the people who create it.

The winners will be revealed during ASIFA-Hollywood’s 49th annual Annie Awards ceremony on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
