‘The Sunshine Flyer’ Will Offer Transportation Between MCO and Walt Disney World Starting Feb 2022

The Sunshine Flyer motorcoach service

Earlier this year, we wrote about Mears replacement for Disney’s Magical Express, and now it appears another company will be offering Disney guests rides to and from the airport aboard “The Sunshine Flyer.”

Transportation Management Services (TMS) will launch “The Sunshine Flyer,” a themed motorcoach bus experience that will transport guests from the Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Walt Disney World® Resorts, and back again to MCO, starting February 2022.

The Sunshine Flyer’s buses are late model, premium motorcoaches with themes that center around old-fashioned passenger cars and train engines. Even the staff outfits will be themed as 1920s rail conductors and engineers.

These definitely look more fun than standard motorcoaches. I imagine kids will especially love them.

TMS says the buses will service all Disney resorts, and are complete with a bathroom, USB chargers, and three-point seatbelts for the comfort and safety of all guests.

They also say with 25 years of experience as a large events transportation company working with world-class events such as the FIFA World Cup, NBA Finals and various PGA TOUR Tournaments, they are primed to offer a streamlined and well-executed service through The Sunshine Flyer.

TICKETS

Tickets are $17.00 per adult and $12.50 per child, each way. There are no discounts for round-trip (RT) bookings. The RT price is simply double the one-way rates.

Tickets for The Sunshine Flyer must be booked at least four days ahead of arrival. TMS says the guests will then receive a QR code they will scan once arriving at Orlando International Airport which will ensure smooth timing and departures to the Resorts.

Plus, in celebration of Disney’s 50th anniversary, the Sunshine Flyer will donate 50% of all revenue from the first 50,000 passengers during the first 50 days of business to Make-A-Wish Central & Northern Florida to support their mission of creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

As a part of the Sunshine Flyer’s commitment to giving back, all Make-A-Wish children and their families will receive complimentary service from the Sunshine Flyer for their Disney wishes indefinitely, as well.

MORE INFORMATION

The Sunshine Flyer will begin service from Orlando International Airport on February 1, 2022.
