A lot of new sweet treats have been popping up around Walt Disney World, from ice cream and cakes to creative concoctions.
From the parks to the resorts, to even the water parks, here are the yummy desserts to give a try on your upcoming visit:
Magic Kingdom has three new treats to look for…
Over at Main Street Bakery, the Opening Day Celebration Cake has arrived with a milk chocolate mousse, raspberry center, and gluten-friendly chocolate cake topped with balloon sprinkles and a chocolate piece. (top photo)
Then head over to Storybook Treats for the Seven Dwarfs Specialty Cone, a cranberry vanilla soft-serve in a cone with a chocolate belt buckle and a “Grumpy” chocolate button. This treat is only available through January 9, 2022.
Finally, Pinocchio Village Haus is offering a delicious looking Black Forest Cheesecake, featuring chocolate cheesecake topped with cherry compote, whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and a white chocolate coin inspired by the “it’s a small world” attraction. This treat is also only available through Jan. 9.
Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts is known for over-the-top desserts, and the new 50th Celebration Shake definitely fits the bill. It’s a birthday cake-flavored shake drizzled in gold glitter glaze topped with a slice of commemorative 50th celebration birthday cake. It’s dessert with a side of dessert.
If you love cinnamon candies, you’ll want to try the “Dynamite“ Cinnamon Roll Sticks at Whispering Canyon Café at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Each stick is filled with a cinnamon schmear sprinkled with crushed red-hot candies, drizzled of cinnamon oil, and topped with a bacon “wick.” They’re accompanied by a warm candied nut glaze. They come five sticks to an order, perfect for sharing.
Through January 7, 2022, Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is offering three new holiday treats:
- Orange Bird Holiday Citrus Swirl – DOLE Whip Orange and Lime swirl in a holiday waffle cone, and a white chocolate Orange Bird Santa (available at Warming Hut)
- Merry Merry Melon Cocktail – Melon- and apple-flavored frozen rum cocktail with a red sugared rim topped with a cherry (available at Frostbite Freddie’s)
- Peppermint Milkshake – Peppermint-flavored milkshake with white chocolate whipped cream and holiday sprinkles (available at Lottawatta Lodge)(top photo)
You’ll have to wait a bit for this one, but a White Chocolate Peppermint Cream Cheese Mousse with peppermint sauce and chocolate cookie crumbles will be offered at Satu’li Canteen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park from Dec. 20-27.
