Yoo hoo! Disney Parks has revealed a first look at who will be the host of the Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure aboard the Disney Wish, and it’s Oaken himself.
Disney Wish is Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship and it will feature several interactive dining experiences, including Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure.
Picking up where the movie “Frozen 2″ left off, guests are invited to Arendelle’s castle for a royal engagement party for Queen Anna and Kristoff, and Oaken will host the celebration with catering provided by his “Hearty Party Planning Service.”
Set in a theater-in-the-round style, the dining room will feature tables surrounding a center stage where guests will enjoy live musical performances by the movie’s characters, along with live entertainment from “local” musicians, and one-of-a-kind interactions from the beloved characters.
Invisible fiber optics embedded in the ceiling will conjure Elsa’s icy magic to windows that magically transform the real-time ocean views with colorful dancing lights.
Families will also participate in a sing-a-long, partake in a Frozen-inspired table craft together, and enjoy a finale that Disney Cruise Line says will “…have everyone in the audience on their feet.”
Oaken’s catering will offer a Nordic-inpired menu that combines traditional flavors with a modern family-friendly fare that will include plenty of seafood. I’m told there will be vegan options, as well.
According to Disney Cruise Line, Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure will be offered exclusively on the Disney Wish.
The Disney Wish will sail its maiden voyage on June 9, 2022, followed by a season of three- and four-night cruises to Nassau, Bahamas, and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, from Port Canaveral, Florida.
