Walt Disney World to Reopen Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom Sept. 29

Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom

Just in time for the kick-off of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration, Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom will reopen to guests on September 29.

This corner shop retains its turn-of-the-century theming, but there are some very modern treats inside for guests to enjoy.

Hosted by Mars Wrigley, the confectionery now sports a wall of cylinders offering 38 varieties of M&M’s and Skittles that can be mix-and-matched by the pound. Very similar to the M&M’s Store at Disney Springs, it looks like.

Popcorn fans can choose from caramel, rainbow fruit, buttery, and cheddar cheese flavors, and then top it off with those M&M’s or Skittles, or choose a chocolate drizzle for a sweet-and-salty combo.

If you enjoy watching your creations being made, you’ll love the candy kitchen where you can see castmembers make and decorate Mickey crisped rice cereal treats, apples, and more. Disney says there are more than 30 new items you won’t find anywhere else.

Sounds like an eating challenge to me!

There are also cases of premade, ready-to-eat treats to enjoy, including the new peanut butter fudge topped with M&M’S Peanut Butter Candies and drizzled with chocolate.

Plus, to celebrate that 50th Anniversary I mentioned earlier, Main Street Confectionery will offer four special treats for the occasion:

Lines may get long at times, but don’t forget that the shop now has mobile ordering for guests.

Are you excited the Main Street Confectionery is reopening? What’s the first thing you’re going to get?
