With Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser set to open at Walt Disney World, adjacent to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, in Fall of 2022, more details, including pricing, have been released today.
Stays are billed as an immersive experience. Guests will arrive at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Terminal (above) and stay onboard the magnificent Halcyon starcruiser, in a cabin or suite, with a “view of space.”
From there, decide…will you follow the rule of the First Order or join the Resistance in a secret plot…or just sit back and watch it all unfold? Your choices determine what happens during your Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser adventure.
Characters you meet one day will lead to amazing new adventures the next day. In addition to in-person interactions, you will also have access to special features in the Star Wars: Datapad experience available on your mobile device as part of the Play Disney Parks app, where you can check your personalized itinerary of events and activities, as well as communications from the crew and others you may encounter along the way.
Activities available include Lightsaber Training, Bridge Training, or take a Planet Excursion to Batuu, where you can partake in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
In addition to the above, each two-night stay package includes meals (2 breakfast/2 lunch/2 dinner all served similar to a cruise ship), valet parking, and one day’s admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios during your stay. Dressing as Star Wars characters is very much encouraged, and the shop aboard the ship will have plenty of garb and accessories to purchase if you forget something.
Only registered Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Guests are permitted to visit the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Terminal or board the starcruiser. So no swinging by just to look.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser rates will vary depending on your voyage departure date, the number of Guests in your cabin and your cabin type. The resort offered sample rates for dates booked 8/20/2022 to 9/17/2022 that start at $1,209 per guest per night for a total of $4,809 for two people on a 2-night all-inclusive immersive package.
Currently bookings are not available, but we’ll let you know as soon as they open up.
So, what do you think? I have to admit, even though I’ve been a huge Star Wars fan since seeing “A New Hope” opening weekend in 1977, I’m currently priced out of a stay. Now, if they decide to do a room only for a night? I might be able to do that. But if you’ve got the money, this is definitely going to be a most awesome immersive Star Wars vacation.

Looks cool, but only folks with very large income can afford to stay there.
Yeah, it’s too pricey for me, too. I think short-term they’ll get that price, but I’m not sure the fans will have the funds to do multiple trips. Disney is definitely going after a certain market with their pricing on this one.
