EarthMoods key art and title

The Earth reveals a magnificent mosaic of patterns when viewed from above. A new trailer and key art for “Earth Moods,” a new Disney+ show from National Geographic, will lift audiences spirits through a series of experiential videos with a lush new soundscape.

According to Disney, “Earth Moods” is a visual and soundscape experience that will bring viewers along for the ultimate retreat—transporting them to a vast array of colorful and calming corners of the world.

Viewers will travel to blue glaciers, arid deserts, lush rainforests and pulsating metropolises to escape from the cacophony of everyday life.

A Lush Musical Landscape Awaits

In addition to the amazing visuals we know and expect from NatGeo, the soundtrack for “Earth Moods” promises to be something special.

The original score is produced by Neil Davidge, known for “Massive Attack” as well as collaborations with Snoop Dogg and David Bowie. Each episode will feature a sound “mood” that gives the audience an opportunity to relax and reset as the sound of music and the natural world washes over them.

From frozen climates to sandy beaches, the five episodes have a wide range

For all the talk about The Mandalorian and WandaVision, the National Geographic Channel videos on Disney+ don’t get talked about enough. There’s already an amazing library of videos on there with more coming all the time, like Earth Moods.

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, so I feel just as comfortable exploring nature as I am in an office. The world of National Geographic has been a window into nature beyond one’s local area and with it’s Disney+ presence that window is open to new generations as well.

All five episodes will be available on Disney+ on Friday, April 16. Episodes include “Frozen Calm,” “Night Lights,” “Tropical Serenity,” “Desert Solitude,” and “Peaceful Patterns.”

NatGeo promises you will feel your spirits lift as this extraordinary tapestry unfolds. Judging by the trailer, we think it will deliver on that promise.

This series comes at a perfect time. With many more people working from their home, having somewhat neutral audio and visual footage that can run is great.

To be honest, we also like to put this style of video on in the background during get togethers with family and friends (those in your bubble for now, but soon we can invite people back into our living rooms again, and not on zoom.

We’re ready to explore the Earth, are you? Earth Moods, an Original Series from National Geographic, will start streaming April 16 on Disney Plus.
