In a normal Commencement address given to graduating seniors, we expect emotion, humor, personal stories, and a few useful tools for whatever the next step in their life may be. But these are not ordinary times. Legendary Disney animation producer and historian Don Hahn knows this and offers some brief, but essential words of wisdom for graduates everywhere in a new video.
Normally Hahn, whose Disney films include Beauty & the Beast, The Lion King, and Maleficent, would be delivering a commencement talk in person. His message of creativity and chasing dreams helps inspire young minds who are embarking on the next big chapter of their lives.
Since things are different this year, Hahn recorded an “essential, inspiring, motivational 2020 Commencement talk” from his art studio. The message is focused on helping grads and their family and friends to celebrate this amazing milestone.
Hahn tells graduates, “You are the hope of the future” and then breaks down how to realize that potential by being the ‘best you’ you can be.
