Like everyone else, our time to enjoy the 2020 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival was cut short. We did manage to shoot some video of our favorite parts of the event, the floral displays.
From floral blankets to container gardens, the Flower and Garden festival is a feast for the eyes with the way it combines colors and shapes. In recent years, the festival has become known for its marvelous Disney character topiary too. We think this year had some of the best.
We’ve edited a few of these videos together into a short video that might shine a little sunshine into a world where we’re all spending a lot more time indoors than we would like.
We like how one of the topiary features Goofy, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse with tools to help in the EPCOT transformation. Despite the transformation we still got two large impressive floral blankets in Future World.
We’re also fans of how the Flower and Garden Festival’s expanded presence in the Germany miniature train display.
Lastly, our favorite place to go soak up the tropical atmosphere in the orchid forest outside the Mexico pavilion. The display was a bit thin in number this year, but the colors were as rich and deep as ever.
We regret not spending more time exploring the beauty of EPCOT’s Flower Gardens at this year’s festival on our visit. But at the time, we had no idea that it would be our only visit to the festival this year.
