If you have a fan of the Disney Channel’s most popular shows of today and tomorrow in your home, then you’ll want to mark Saturday, May 9th on your calendar for the third annual Disney Channel Fan Fest at the Disneyland Resort. The event features interactive Disney experiences for kids and families and a chance to mix and mingle with cast members of Disney Channel’s shows.

At this year’s fan fest, you’ll find activities including the Disney’s “QUIZney” trivia challenge, learn-to-draw sessions with creators from Disney Television Animation, a sneak peek at the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Upside-Down Magic,” “Descendants” and “ZOMBIES”-themed dance parties, and photo opportunities with some of Disney Channel’s biggest stars. If you plan to get in line for a meet and greet session, note that wristband distribution will happen at park opening on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you can’t make it out in person for some reason, you will be able to view a live stream of the Fan Fest cavalcade down Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland featuring today’s brightest young celebrities with favorite Disney characters.

Fan Fest events plans currently includes stars from “ZOMBIES 2,” “Gabby Duran & the Unsittables,” “Raven’s Home,” “Just Roll With It,” “Sydney to the Max,” “Coop & Cami Ask The World, “BUNK’D,” and the upcoming “Disney Fam Jam” and “Upside-Down Magic.” The learn-to-draw sessions will feature the creative teams behind “Big City Greens,” “The Owl House,” “Amphibia” and “DuckTales.” All appearances are subject to change without notice, naturally.

We understand more details will be released soon including some Disney Channel fan love for folks out in Orlando, FL at Walt Disney World during the Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT during the following weekends May 16-17, May 23-24, and May 30-31.

I’m reminded of great events of the last like ESPN the Weekend, ABC Super Soap Weekend, and Star Wars Weekends. Which of those three would you like to see brought back to the parks?
