Sometimes you have to stop and have a little zen experience and take in the wonder that is Walt Disney World. Yesterday on my trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, I took a few moments to visit one of my favorite places in the park.
The lower seating area of Flame Tree BBQ looks out over Discovery River and the the Rivers of Light stadium. Expedition Everest looms in the distance. What you get is an incredibly peaceful scene punctuated by the occasional screams of people having the time of their life.
There’s also a beautiful reflection pond down in that area, where I like to just grab a drink and sit and watch the various wildlife who tend to hang out there.
