Lady and the Tramp remains one of the most warm-fuzzy (and furry) stories since Disney’s animated film release in 1955. The live-action adaptation premiered on Disney+ in November 2019, and what better way to supplement the revitalization of the classic story than with new and accessible reading materials for youngsters.
Later this month, Disney Press is set to release three Lady and the Tramp books: The Junior Novelization, How Lady Met Tramp and a Level 2 reader called Puppy Love.
The Junior Novelization is a humorous and sweet recount of the story Disney fans everywhere know and love and includes 8 pages of photos in the center of the book. (As a kid I remember how accomplished I felt making it halfway through a book and to those photo pages!) How Lady Met Tramp is a 24-page 8×8 paperback storybook and, similarly, Puppy Love offers junior readers (Kindergarten – Grade 2) a warm welcome to our friends Lady, Tramp, Jock, Trusty, Peg and others.
