Disney H20 Glow Nights returning to Typhoon Lagoon for Summer 2020

Partysaurus Rex is returning to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon this summer as the official party animal of H2O Glow Nights. You may remember Partysaurus Rex from the Pixar Toy Story bath-themed animated short of the same name. H2O Glow Nights starts after the sun goes down and the hard-ticket after-hours events offers a new way to get a great value from Disney’s best water park.

The event is a great chance to ride your favorite Typhoon Lagoon experiences with little or no wait. Disney also brings out some of your favorite Toy Story characters along with specially themed food and beverage menus.

The event features a DJ-hosted dance party right in front of the wave pool and the cool vibes float throughout the park for the entire event. They even bring out special party themed flotation devices for the lazy river.

Tips:

  • It doesn’t really matter where you sit, as you won’t be doing any sunbathing. We like the chair area over by Crush ‘n’ Gusher water coaster. You’re close to some of the best attractions and far enough from the dance party that you can sit down and relax for a bit.
  • Although the event takes place from 8pm to 11pm, don’t overlook the food and beverages. It’s a different menu from the day.
  • You can enter as early as 6pm and enjoy some of the attractions while the regular day guests head out.
  • You won’t need any sunscreen, but you might want to bring your own towels and avoid the rental costs. We also recommend taking advantage of the Lockers to store any valuables while you’re out running around having fun.

Three hours (plus the two mix-in hours) is more than enough time to get at least one ride on all the big Typhoon Lagoon attractions. You can do that during the day, but you’ll be waiting in a lot more lines. Add a ticket to your package early and receive a discounted price. Contact your Travel Agent for more details.

Disney H20 Glow Nights start May 27 and run through August 29 on select nights.
