It’s the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney’s Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, but this time of year it also celebrates Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas with a special Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay. Our friend Pam loves both the movie and the Haunted Mansion, so when it was time to bake herself a birthday cake, this was the perfect recipe.
If you’ve been on Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland you’ll recognize the Jack-o-lantern Snow mountain, the wreath marking the 50th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion, and even the singing pumpkin busts.
I love the little details she put in the cake. From the icicles on the hill, to the one pumpkin bust that’s tilted on its side just like in the attraction.
Nothing combines Halloween and Christmas like Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas!
Pam put 12 hours into baking, creating the details, and decorating this beautiful Haunted Mansion Holiday themed cake. For those wondering what the flavor is? We’re told it is Chocolate cake with Dark Chocolate Ganache and Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream. Very tasty!!
It’s her own birthday too. Let her know how much you love this cake in the comments!
Happy Birthday Pam! A huge thank you for sharing these photos and videos with us.
