New ABC drama “Emergence” builds early buzz ahead of premiere

“Emergence” cast members Allison Tolman, Alexa Swinton, Owain Yeoman, Ashley Aufderheide, Robert Bailey Jr., Zabryna Guevara, Donald Faison, Terry Quinn, and Clancy Brown attended a screening of the debut episode (watch the first 9 minutes below) and participated in the panel discussion moderated by Jeremy Parsons, host of People Now, yesterday at the Crosby Hotel in New York City.

We loved Tolman’s work in the first season of “Fargo” on FX as Deputy Molly Solverson. You may also know her from the “Good Girls” series on NBC or a host of other films and television appearances since 2006. Of course Terry Quinn has done a ton of great work including ABC’s epic series “LOST.”

A character-driven genre thriller, “Emergence” follows a police chief who takes in a young child she finds near the site of a mysterious accident who has no memory of what has happened. The investigation draws her into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined, and the child’s identity is at the center of it all.
