After you’ve returned from the planet Batuu and had your fill at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival, you’ll want to make room at the end of the day for all the fun at the Great Irish Hooley at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant in Disney Springs. The Irish music festival features a live bands with traditional Irish, Celt grass, folk, blues and soul from Aug. 30-Sept. 2. This is the 8th Great Irish Hooley and, as usual, there is no cover charge to join the fun, which begins at 4 p.m. nightly and continues into the wee hours each night.
Never heard of a “hooley?” Raglan Road Irish Pub provides this helpful definition. “It’s an old Gaelic term for a party with music and entertainment with fun for the whole family.” In addition to the music, the Great Irish Hooley will include Celtic face painting, Hooley-crafted cocktails plus creative new bites by the pub’s inventive culinary team. The pub also will introduce a new local craft beer collaboration with Crooked Can Brewing: the Devil’s Foot Blackberry Golden Ale.
