Disney has issued a voluntary recall for their Toy Story 4 Forky Plush Toy that’s in the 11 inch range. Yes, Forky is literal trash now. Disney is offering a full refund for this voluntary recall.
The reason for the recall is the “googly” plastic eyes on the toy can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. This is a dangerous condition whether you have young kids now or not. At some point in the future this toy could end up in a donation bin and in the hands of a toddler. So it’s important you follow the recall refund method if you purchased one of these toys.
About 80,000 units were sold in the US at various Disney stores, Disney theme parks and online at ShopDisney. In addition, about 650 were sold in Canada.
The toy has poseable arms, a base, rainbow screen art on top of foot and plastic rolling “googly” eyes. The eyes are comprised of three parts; a white plastic base, a clear plastic dome and a small black plastic disc within the dome, which represents the character’s pupil. The tracking code information is included on the sewn in label attached to the base of the toy.

Even before Toy Story 4 entered theaters, I saw kids (and adults) carrying these Forky plush dolls through the parks. If you’ve been to a Disney theme park recently, there’s a good chance one made the trip home with you.
If you have an 11-inch Forky Toy Story 4 Plush, you should immediately take the recalled toy away from children and return it to any Disney Store retail location,Walt Disney World, or Disneyland Resort theme park retail store location for a full refund.
