Spider-Man: Far From Home teaser trailer sends Peter Parker overseas

Peter Parker and his high school class are leaving the calm streets of New York and going on an overseas field trip, which presents certain problems when your alter-ego is the web-slinging super hero Spider-Man.

“Spider-Man: Far From Home” is the next chapter in the Spider-Man: Homecoming series. Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!

The first teaser trailer is out. Keep an eye out for a slew of cameos:

That guy who shows up at the end is Mysterio AKA Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhall). Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) is back, of course, and Happy Hogan, aka Tony Stark’s assistant, shows up too. Parker’s high school buddies are back too.

While this trailer doesn’t reveal anything about Avengers: Endgame, it does appear that things are pretty much back to normal at the end of it. At least as normal as can be for a high school superhero.

“Spider-Man: Far From Home” from Sony Entertainment and Marvel Studios swings into theaters on July 5, 2019.
