Riviera Resort’s new look revealed in updated concept art

The Disney Vacation Club recently shared new concept art for its Riviera Resort scheduled to open in late 2019. The artist rendering has more detail than previous looks at the resort and show off a European feel. Earlier concept art was panned as appearing too plain for a Walt Disney World resort. If the final product matches this new look, I think those complaints have been resolved.

The video also gives us our first look at the logo for the Riviera resort. I like the hidden Mickey in there

The Riviera resort is not yet available for sales to current and future DVC members. But let’s enjoy that concept art one more time.

Disney’s Riviera Resort will have access to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot via the new Disney Skyliner gondola network. It will also feature rooftop dining with spectacular views of the nighttime fireworks shows at both parks. Definitely prime real estate.

  1. If we could all stop calling deliberately blatant Mickey Mouse silhouette images incorporated into company logos, fixtures, carpets, etc. “hidden” Mickey’s, that would be great. This one, like thousands of others, is intended to be obvious, not subtle or “hidden.” #thanks
