On select nights of the year Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will flip on the lights and bring the DJ out on to the stage for a night of fun with access to the park’s top attractions for you and a very limited amount of other guests. It’s also the 30th anniversary summer of Typhoon Lagoon, so it’s a good time to stop by and enjoy it’s great attractions.
We went a couple times last year and found it was a great opportunity to hit all the water rides we wanted, often multiple times. If that’s your thing, and you don’t mind having no chance of getting a sunburn, then H2O Glow Nights is for you.
Partysaurus Rex is the unofficial mascot of the event and he knows how to get down. There are also various opportunities to meet character from Pixar’s Toy Story films.
One of the somewhat surprising reasons to attend H2O Glow Nights is for the food. The event has a special menu that you can’t get during regular operating hours, including a special adults only area for drinks.
In 2019 the evening beach parties will happen Thursdays and Saturdays from May 30 through Aug. 24.
