Walt Disney World’s holiday elves have been busy transforming the parks from one holiday to the other. The work is done largely by the Holiday Services department and a special team of set dressers and horticultural experts who flip the Magic Kingdom from Halloween to Holidays in pretty much just one night.
Watch this fun video as Disney offloads and hangs six trailers of decorations, including one 65-foot-tall Christmas Tree in less than seven hours.
Everything should be up and ready to go in time for the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which kicks off this Thursday, November 8.

Does anyone else remember when the parks used to transform overnight to Christmas the night after Thanksgiving? I liked that better than having Christmas appear on November 1. Don’t get me wrong — I love the Christmas decorations. It’s just not quite as special to have Christmas happening so far before Thanksgiving.
