Andrea Bocelli debuts duet with his son “Fall on Me” to be featured in Disney’s Nutcracker movie

Disney is bringing out the big guns for the soundtrack of its upcoming holiday movie “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.” Andrea Bocelli and his son 20-year-old Matteo Bocelli have released a music video for their song “Fall on Me” which is featured in the movie. It has a beautiful poignancy, especially given the father and son relationship.

The mixed-language version “Ven a Mi” debuted last month and already has 18.5 Million views. This was the first music video featuring a duet between father and son Bocelli.

Bocelli wrote on YouTube, “Anyone who is a parent, anyone who knows the precious responsibility of being a mother or a father, will fully grasp the meaning of this piece. ‘Fall on Me’ is the first time I have duetted with my son Matteo Bocelli.”

You can pre-order Bocelli’s new album ‘Si,’ which contains the Fall on Me duet, from Amazon today.

About the film:

All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world.

Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.

Disney’s “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” opens November 2 in a theater near you.
