Time-lapse video: Mickey Mouse shaped sand trap takes shape on Disney World Golf Course

If you’re a golfer, a vacation at Walt Disney World can offer you time on some of the best kept fairways and greens in Florida as part of your getaway. Of course, each golf course has a touch of Disney magic in the shape of newly added Mickey-shaped sand bunkers. Now that’s a giant Hidden Mickey.

The original Mickey sand trap has been located at hole number 6 on the Magnolia course and one was recently added to the No. 9 green on the Oak Trail course and the No. 9 hole at Lake Buena Vista trailer.

Disney has released a fun time-lapse video showing the creation of the Mickey shaped sand trap on the Oak Trail:

Don’t feel tempted to hit one in there just for the perfect photo op for your Gold game or maybe you should. Yeah that’s the perfect excuse to use anyway.

Soon the Palm Course will have its own Mickey Mouse shaped sand bunker and all the courses will be complete.

Many Disney passes come with complimentary or discounted greens fees. Be sure to check with your travel agent for your options or visit www.golfwdw.com for more info. You’ll enjoy the experience and professionalism of the Arnold Palmer Golf Management team which manages Disney’s four courses.
