Halloween has arrived at the Magic Kingdom and with it the first nights of the popular Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. The event is full of family fun for all ages including trick or treating, terrific entertainment, and exclusive event merchandise. We attended the opening night as part of a media preview and found some delightful merchandise that we know will be popular with fans as they run ‘amuck, amuck, amuck’ throughout the night.
We asked Disney Parks merchandise communications manager Steven Miller to give us a 2-minute rundown of his favorite items:
One of the key elements of the collection salutes the 25th anniversary of Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” movie. The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show is a must-see part of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and we saw a lot of guests sporting some of this great apparel in the parks already.
We liked the t-shirts that are ‘insta-costumes’ as they resemble the outfits worn by the Sanderson sisters. The cauldron coffee cup was another favorite.
The primary design theme for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party incorporates many elements from the evening into fun design that has found its way on to t-shirts, pins, a limited edition magic band, and other collectibles.
Find these event exclusive items at the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. and Big Top Souvenirs in the Storybook Circus area of New Fantasyland. Frontier Trading Post in Frontierland will offer the event pins.
Do you see any items you know you’ll be bringing home with you from your visit to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom?
